Republican lawmakers and candidates reportedly "listened quietly, occasionally offering applause" as they sipped on cocktails ahead of their dinner, which was called an "end of summer BBQ" featuring cheeseburgers. But it would be a very, VERY long time before they ate. Folks are usually dressed casually in shorts and T-shirts on hot summer nights at a BBQ. They sat there sweating in suits and ties. And they were not seated a cool shaded back yard lawn, but on a hot slab of concrete in the middle of the city. Trump started his speech on that - how PROUD he was of his patio that replaced the former Rose Garden. It "ruined ladies' shoes," he said. He went on to rave about his ballroom and his other projects. And then his capture of Maduro and his triumph over Iran, reciting his tired rote list of everything he destroyed, their Air force, their Navy etc, etc, yada yada yada. He repeated his whines about Biden and open borders, and the mess he left him. And transgenders and sports, and Kamala Harris, and AOC and Bernie Sanders, and explained all over again how you change "Democrat" to "Dumocrat" by replacing the "e" with a "u" and most people don't know that "dumb" has a "b" in it. And he went on. And ON. He boasted about his tariffs and his great economy. He told them that they needed to tell their VOTERS about all that. Things like what he did about Prescription prices. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . OK FRIENDS. Buckle up. Just to give you an idea about how he was rambling, THIS, word for word, is what he said about prescriptions: "They all agreed to do it. And we got 500, 600, 700, depending on the way, or you could say it somewhat differently. If you say it a certain way, it's 500, 600, 700 percent reduction. But if you say it another way, we reduced our prescription drugs by 60, 70 or 80 percent…
