This is a beautiful park with a great playground for kids. The ground under the equipment is rubberized matting that makes most falls painless. There are pickleball and tennis courts for the adults. The park is surrounded by a jogging path and lots of open space and the mountain views are great. There's even a building that looks like a 100 year old home that can be rented for weddings, etc — Patrick Comey
Parking is awful. If you have an event at the Mitchell House on a weekend, be prepared to park far away. Park and resident guests occupy all the nearby spaces. Even if "Private Event" signs are posted around the house and the grassy area behind the property, some park visitors will not respect the sign and erect their own tents behind the house. Lovely. Yet another prototype SCV neighborhood park. This one is particularly pretty because of the lush grass areas and old, huge hardwood trees. It also has some nice touches like sculpture art (the bikes) and quotes in the concrete walkway. There isn't any hiking however you can walk across the street to the cute little townhomes that border the Santa Clara riverbed. I don't think it is an off… — KT Webb
the park is fine the playground however has a terrible layout. ladder in the middle of the jungle gym is a huge safety hazard. my son was running and playing and fell down 6 feet to the floor. just terrible — Bear
