I asked for a spicy sour soup no calamari extra shrimp. They gave me three shrimp and they put calamari in it. The flame was off when they served it $23 for some vegetable, fake crab and three shrimp and extremely salty soup. I’ll never be back here again don’t waste your time and money — Jorge

I've visited the Palmdale area for work on three occasions in as many months.. Coworkers and I have dined at Shandra Thai on two of those trips.. My first lunch visit to this restaurant was in Dec 2025 and I sampled the shrimp Pad Thai.. Others tried the pork belly Pad Thai and the Thai Tea.. 12/27/24 Fri @ noon. This place is a gem. It's not a big restaurant, but it makes up for it with the best food and cozy relaxing atmosphere. The waiter was very patient, as we had 2 elderly guests with us. He brought us everything soon enough. Food took around 20min to arrive. fyi: It gets busy at lunch. We visited the restaurant around 2:25 pm today we asked to are server, Elison J. For the lunch special which runs from 12:00 to 3:00 pm and he said they do have the deal but they don’t have any more soup and because it’s 2:35 pm he will not ask the person in the kitchen to make more.i asked if he would replace the soup with anything else to compensate and he refused to.
