Palmdale Animal Care Center is a county-operated animal shelter serving the Palmdale area with adoption services, animal welfare programs, and community support. Operating six days a week from 11 AM to 5 PM, the facility helps place animals in permanent homes while providing essential care and resources to local pet owners.

This place is the definition of incompetency. A lovely dog named Lady was left here for less than a month. She had a new family lined up ready to take her in, and the staff were notified about this new family. They responded that Lady’s status was “pending”, and that she needed to wait for that to finish before she can be given away. Next thing we know, she was put down for no reason.
