What a gem! Fabulous in every way. Madeline's has a wonderful menu and wonderful wine list highlighting boutique Paso Robles wines. For lunch we enjoyed the mushroom-sage soup special and the Nicoise and Duck Confit salads. I was here about seven years ago and raved to my husband how good it was. Can’t believe I forgot to leave a review back then! Husband ordered filet and it did not disappoint - the best he’s ever had. Found this restaurant with a Google search and noticed reviews were hit-or-miss, so we took a chance to see where it landed...for a birthday event. Between the halibut and stuffed chicken, we were at 50%. We ended up swapping meals to see if one was more palatable. The stuffed chicken, which was recommended by others, was overdone. The music fit the vibe so well. Our server was so welcoming, warm and helpful. The food stands out on its own. Beautifully seasoned, wonderful variety and all gluten free deserts. Absolutely blown away. And dont get us started in the humongous wine list. These guys have something special here.
