Look, I can't dilly dilly at animal shelters. I fall in love too easily and these creatures are desperate to get out of there. I went to help groom shelter dogs. We were featured on the news because the dogs came from the rescue situation in Lake Hughes. Lancaster is 1 and a half hours away from me. I told myself I wasn't going to fall in love. I adopted my Australian Shepherd Max there they never told me he was an aggressive dog. It is so hard to work with him when it’s a little too late to give him back to the shelter, cause I love him way too much. It sucks. I wish that they just would’ve told me the truth about his attitude and how aggressive he was towards people and other dogs. — Kayla Figueroa
Killed poor Roco 6/11 was only there since 5/27. Why can’t you do better to find these dogs new homes. RIP 3 dogs euthanized when they had adopters coming for them!! Kill two 1 year old siblings Max and Lola who were only their for a short time. Stop dumping your dogs. This place needs to work harder to get these dogs out. Rip Dante been at the shelter for a couple weeks and was killed Rip Pricil… — James A

They put her in a crate and started putting a stick through the cage to see if she was aggressive. She is hurt, scared and of course is going to try to defend herself. I called 1 hour later they told me the kitten did not make it, she was dead.… — Parker
leaving 5 stars NOT because of the staff BUT for the animals sake! Please don’t leave 1-2 star reviews, I don’t want people being pushed away from rescuing an animal in need here…. Despite the reviews almost a year ago when I first moved here I swung by and ended up taking home a sweet boy by the name of “Oliver” since renamed to “Angelo”. Angelo is a Crain terrier mix and absolutely AMAZING litt… — Elle
