We stopped at this restaurant on our way back home to Ventura County from Antelope Valley. This place is conveniently right off the free way. There were patrons inside of the restaurant when we arrived at lunch time. Servers were very attentive though they were busy. Food was good and portions were large. The been dip and salsa were great. The beer and food was slightly more expensive as compared to other Mexican restaurants in the AV but not too bad. Some of the best chicken fajitas I’ve ever had! The tampiqueña was also stellar. Even the rice and beans were excellent whereas most places they’re just filler items. Only a couple minutes off the freeway. I will definitely be back. — C. M.

An old, quaint place that had some history for sure. We took a different route back to Acton saw the place and took a chance. Glad we did. Bar has a good choice of tequila and also well stocked with other spirits. Locals are abundant and friendly as the staff is. — Cindi Peck
