I don't know how to keep my boyfriend interested since losing my libido

MusicMan 2 October 19, 2019

DEAR DEIDRE: WHEN I lost my libido, my boyfriend suggested hiring an escort. I know it isn’t fair of me to deny him pleasure but I told him I don’t like the idea of this.

I don’t want him to pay for something he should get for free with me. I mentioned an open relationship instead, just for him to hook up.

I’m 23 and my boyfriend is 24. We’ve been together for two years.

I’ve just started a new job and have a busy life outside work and it’s been quite stressful trying to make time for everything.

He deserves to have sex. I believe that’s my job and I feel bad when I turn him down. I’ve started to become anxious when we get close in preparation for making love.

He told me that he’s started talking about us with one of his exes who is now an escort. They want to go for a drink to see if it goes anywhere. His plan makes me feel uncomfortable.

DEIDRE SAYS: I’m not surprised. It is a dreadful idea. You sound to be feeling very pressured, so you need to carve out some fun time from your daily routines.

Suggest you set aside Friday evenings, say, or Sunday mornings – whenever you can both feel your most relaxed and unpressured – for physical fun and games.
